Soup Herbs

 

Cooking with herbs is a great way to enhance your food while enjoying the therapeutic benefits of herbs. Many of the herbs we use today as seasonings in our cooking were originally used as medicines. For example, turmeric was once referred to as the poor man’s Saffron and
people mostly used it to colour their rice.

Yet in India turmeric has been used for thousands of years as a medicinal herb remedy to treat inflammation, infections and bruising

Add a healthy dose of nutrients to your soup, gravy, curries, sauces & marinades. Ideal for making Paleo beef broths and FODMAP diets.

Suitable for vegetarians and vegans. Great for children, healthy for everyone.

What I do is lightly fry a tablespoon of the herbs in a little olive oil for a minute and then add vegetables, stock & water if making a broth or other ingredients to make a sauce or curry. Lightly frying the herbs releases an amazing aroma and the therapeutic benefits you will enjoy.

Every 35gm packet of Soup-Herbs will make a min. of 6 liters of broth.
